In a blatant attempt to gain more readers, I am running a contest.  Click the FOLLOW THIS BLOG button on the right side of this page, sign up to follow this blog, and you will automatically be entered into the FABULOUS CONTEST. 

The prize?  A box of goodies that even Marie Antoinette would have appreciated, including (but not limited to) some great reads, an autographed copy of The Mammoth Book of Scottish Romance, and delicious Austrian chocolates. 

Isn't this une idea magnifique? 

Perhaps if Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette would have thought of holding a similar contest, they would not have lost their heads.  Mollify the masses with paperback novels and chocolates!  Who knows?  It might have worked!
